Today I have Dakota Dawn Johnson sharing all things sales and sponsorships with us. Her definition of the art of selling, “serving others and solving problems” lays the groundwork for this episode. Dakota is the host of the podcast Cowgirl Confessions, works in sales for Ariat, and owns a feeder calf operation with her husband. She has thirty years of experience in sales and sponsorships so she’s sharing her proven strategies for building partnerships. From evaluating your own sales skills and building trust to providing solutions and retaining sponsorships, Dakota shows how putting work into the front end of the process makes it easy for them to say yes!
